My name is Rex Crandell and I’m going to tell you about a book that was recently released that I wrote in the area of estate planning.
I saw there was a need for a book that explained things in enough detail so people understood what the situation was but not written so basic that it was just giving a light skimming of the material. I wanted to include information related to how things work in the real world and not just a theory on how estate planning works. The book covers many subjects. The topic is comprehensive estate planning because it’s not just a will, it’s not just a trust, it’s a group of documents to handle situations that you may encounter. It starts with an overview of estate planning, a chapter on trusts, a chapter on Wills and then we discuss probate. There’s a chapter on Advanced Healthcare directives and durable power of attorney for financial management.
It’s not a theoretical book, it’s a nuts and bolts how the estate planning works, how the documents work, how they don’t work and snags and problems you might run into.
